About Hamdard Majun Usbha

This is a compound formulation of Unani medicine (Herbs). The chief ingredient is Ushba. This is used for the purify the blood and removes toxins from the skin and blood as well. It is beneficial in various skin diseases like itching,scaling,oozing and papules etc. This is also used in syphilis and piles.

Ingredients of Majun Ushba

Afteemoon (Cuscuta reflexa herb) :  Cuscuta is easily identifiable green-yellow coloured, leafless, parasitic twining stem which tangles on the host plant with it countless branches and draws its nutrition. In traditional medicinal system, whole plant of cuscuta is used for treatment of various diseases. Cuscuta plant is used for treating constipation, liver, spleen diseases, diarrhoea, inflammation etc. Cuscuta is alterative, purgative, carminative and anthelmintic.

Ushba (Sarsaparilla indica herb):  The root is a valuable alterative, blood purifier, demulcent, diaphoretic, diuretic and tonic.It is used in the treatment of appetite loss, dyspepsia, fever, skin diseases, syphilis, leucorrhoea, genitourinary diseases and chronic coughs. A paste of the roots is applied externally to swellings and Joint pain. Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), alcoholism, pain and swelling (inflammation), asthma, and for preventing heart disease and stroke. Borage flower and leaves are used for fever, cough, and depression

Dosage of Majun Ushba

To be taken 5 to 7 gram twice a day with water.
