About Qurs Ziabeteez:
This is Unani Medicine is used to treat diabetes insipidus. The word “Diabetes” comes from the Greek word “Diabanmo” which means to run through or pass through. In Unani medicine “Ziabetus” is the term which is used generally for diabetes, and “Ziabetus Shakari” for diabetes mellitus. It is mentioned in most of the Unani literature like Al Qaanon, Al Hawi, Kamilus Sana’ah, etc. Arabian scholars have also mentioned it in terms like Atsha, Dolab, Zalaqul kulliya and Dawwarah. Egyptians have described clinical features similar to Diabetes almost 3000 years back.

Tabashher: Tabasheer or Banslochan, also spelt as Tabachir or Tabashir, is a translucent white substance, composed mainly of silica and water with traces of lime and potash, obtained from the nodal joints of some species of bamboo. It is part of the pharmacology of the traditional Ayurvedic and Unani systems of medicine of the Indian subcontinent. It is also an ingredient in many traditional Chinese medicines. It is useful in bronchial asthma, diabetes, involuntary muscle movement, fever and bacterial infections.

Maghz-e-Khasta-e-Jamun : Jambolan is a tree. The seed, leaf, bark, and fruit are used to make medicine. Jambolan is widely used in Ayurveda, Unani Medicine and Sidha medicine for diabetes. It is also used for digestion disorders including gas (flatulence), bowel spasms, stomach problems, and severe diarrhoea (dysentery). It is also beneficial for lung problems such as bronchitis and asthma. Some people use jambolan as an aphrodisiac to increase interest in sexual activity and as a tonic. In combination with other herbs, jambolan seed is used for constipation, diseases of the pancreas, stomach problems, nervous disorders, depression, and exhaustion. Jambolan is sometimes applied directly to the mouth and throat to reduce pain due to swelling (inflammation). It is also applied directly to the skin for skin ulcers and inflammation of the skin
